Random Reflections!

A few days ago, I received a message from a friend-cum-junior regarding a doubt about his project-related work. Since his area of research aligns closely with mine, I agreed to help him. At a certain point, he asked for further assistance with his project. I advised him to seek guidance from his supervisor, as his supervisor could provide the best direction. However, he abruptly rejected my advice, possibly because his supervisor was either too busy or not very interested in supervising him. I insisted that he meet his supervisor regularly and report his progress. He eventually agreed, but he still felt apprehensive, as he often struggled to grasp things on the first attempt. As result of this he get anxious, which is usual.

As a student, I faced similar situation. Personally I believe that, dedication and commitment are the pillars of success. I'd like to share a personal example. I have loved writing on diverse topics since my graduation days. When I entered postgraduate studies, I became significantly interested in scientific writing, which is quite different from formal writing. Driven by curiosity, I planned to learn scientific writing. I researched extensively, took notes, and even enrolled in an online course, which I left midway. However, I never gave up on learning. I began understanding scientific writing on my own and eventually met someone who taught me a lot about it. I owe much of my knowledge to his guidance.

I share this to highlight that students and friends often blame situations, people, or resources for their own shortcomings. Instead of complaining, one should focus on their strengths and the brighter side of things. With zest and belief can attract others to join you. Though things may not always go our way, we have the potential to change our destiny.

Recently came across this beautiful quote at Twitter

A positive outlook can solve many issues. People may not always be helpful, due to their busy lives, but we shouldn't abandon our goals because of this. We should proceed with a positive attitude, love what we do, and commit ourselves fully. Following these principles makes it easier to succeed in any undertaking.

I wrote this piece based on my personal observations, and these views are entirely my own. In the current scenario where everything can be appear as illusion we need to stand firm.

"Success is not the key to happiness. Happiness is the key to success. If you love what you are doing, you will be successful." - Albert Schweitzer

MY COLLEGE JOURNEY

MY COLLEGE JOURNEY As I look back on the years gone by, I can’t be thankful enough for them. Professionally and personally, those are the best years I’ve had. Those college years (2016-2020) gaves me a lots of experiences, a lot of memories, a lots of life lessons, and so on. What did you learnt in those years? Can you describe it in one word? For me it is “GRATITUDE”. I discovered that having a deep sense of gratitude for all that you have in a life is a source of profound happiness. As I started my college for the first time in the month of August 2016. I was quiet afraid as I do not want to go the B.Pharm Degree course. But due to the some reasons I took a decision to go to the bachelors of pharmacy degree. From the very first day of my college admission to the till date the my journey of college was very interesting and distinct. On the 8th of July 2016 I took admission to the KVPS Institute of Pharmaceutic...

Journey of Master's: Lessons and Reflections

“Lao Tzu”, once rightly said, “The Journey of Thousand Miles Begins With a Single Step”   Today I’m at the stage of finishing my master's and heading towards a new phase of my life. I still remember the days when I’m in dilemma about choosing the next path of my career after my bachelor's. As my bachelor degree was nearing the finish, I was quite firm about doing my master as on a distance basis from the same institute. But due to the importunity of family members, I opted to go for the regular mode. I still remember the day when (30/1/2021) when I confirm my admission to the college and started my master’s college on regular basis from 5/2/2021 onwards.  Initially, the college was supposed to be on online mode due to the upsurge in COVID-19 cases. Up to June 2021, things are getting normal back. Due to COVID-19, the exam for the first two semesters of the first year was held in online mode (Sessional exams were offline mostly). As already our year has started quite late due t...

2025: A Year in a Nutshell

The time has come to say goodbye to 2025 and welcome 2026. This is the right time to look back at the year, think about what happened, and prepare for what is coming next. For the last two years, I have built a habit of reviewing my year and learning from it. This moment helps to remember what I did, what I missed, and what I still want to do. I truly believe this is the time to learn from the past and get ready for the future. Reflection is not only about success. It is also about emotions, mistakes, lessons, strength, and growth. So it is important to pause, think, and move ahead with better understanding. Like always, 2025 passed very fast. It feels like it just started and now it is ending. Every year teaches something. Sometimes it feels light and happy. Sometimes it feels heavy and difficult. But every year shapes us in some way. At the beginning of 2025, I had many resolutions. Some I completed, some I could not. That is completely fine. Life does not always follow our plans. Wh...
