The Anatomy of a Breakthrough

For a long time, I have been thinking about what to write. Last Sunday, I realized it had been quite a while since I last sat down to share my thoughts. The last few months were consumed by a sheer workload, and I found it difficult to carve out time to think deeply and write about anything meaningful. On that fine evening, I sat and thought for a long time about life. It was a beautiful moment: the sun was setting, a cold wind was blowing, and I was surrounded by the soft, sparkling golden light reflecting off the open fields. I am a great fanatic about moments like these. Initially, I thought about writing on politics, as it is a subject I find interesting. Then, my mind jumped to students and career paths, and a moment later, I wanted to write about myself. My mind got stuck in this loop, and I struggled to choose a subject.  Serenity at Peak Over the last six years of casual writing, I have come to one conclusion: unless you are in a clear state of mind, you cannot truly write ...

2025: A Year in a Nutshell

The time has come to say goodbye to 2025 and welcome 2026. This is the right time to look back at the year, think about what happened, and prepare for what is coming next. For the last two years, I have built a habit of reviewing my year and learning from it. This moment helps to remember what I did, what I missed, and what I still want to do. I truly believe this is the time to learn from the past and get ready for the future. Reflection is not only about success. It is also about emotions, mistakes, lessons, strength, and growth. So it is important to pause, think, and move ahead with better understanding. Like always, 2025 passed very fast. It feels like it just started and now it is ending. Every year teaches something. Sometimes it feels light and happy. Sometimes it feels heavy and difficult. But every year shapes us in some way. At the beginning of 2025, I had many resolutions. Some I completed, some I could not. That is completely fine. Life does not always follow our plans. Wh...

Life in Academia ๐ŸŒ‡

Hi, I hope you all are doing well.    It has been a while since I wrote here. Being in academia is a two-edged sword. Sometimes it felt like exhaustion, while at other times it felt like relaxing.   Since my inception in academia, the one thing I have found complicated for myself is about the effective time management. So far, for me it has been 2.5 years of experience in this field, and I found academia as my personal favorite choice when it comes to the job. There are many attributes to this, whether it is genetic instinct, my passion for reading and writing, or my interest in research (not to a high scientific level).    Before this, after my master's, I am in a dilemma to choose between academia or industry. For being unclear for a long time, I chose to go into the industry. I have been associated with the industry for a relatively short period. It was a good job. In it, most of the assignments are static. It is not a strictly 9-5 job, but most ...

Artificial Intelligence, ChatGPT, and Future!

It has been a while since I last wrote. This gap can be attributed to busy work schedules and multiple assignments. Finding time for the things we love can be truly challenging. However, today, amidst my regular busy schedule, I managed to take out a sometime to shed light on something I’ve been curious about. Returning to what you love is one of the best feelings. I feel truly blessed whenever I get back to writing. Writing regularly—say, on a monthly basis—has been difficult for me. There are several reasons for this, both personal and professional. Years ago, in 2023, I wrote a piece on ChatGPT, OpenAI’s groundbreaking generative AI tool (you can find it  here ). In that post, I discussed the various basic and positive implications of GPT in everyday life. Back then, most of my friends—whom I regularly engaged with on this topic—didn’t take me seriously when I spoke about the potential of this technology. Many dismissed it, believing AI couldn’t possibly be as powerful as it cla...

2024 in a spectrum!

The time of the year has arrived when we are ready to welcome a new year and bid farewell to the current one. It’s one of the best times to pause and reflect on the journey we’ve had. This transition is a beautiful reminder of what has been accomplished and what still needs our attention. It’s a chance to relive happy moments, celebrate victories, regret missed opportunities, and, most importantly, plan for the future. Sunsets are the forever love (Pic-credit:madisonresortwildwoodcrest.com) Personally, I believe this is the perfect time to learn from the lessons of the past year and prepare for what lies ahead. For most of us, the new year begins with hope, resolutions, to-do lists, and countless plans. But how often do we pause at year-end to reflect on what we achieved, missed, or need to change? Reflection and learning from the past make for a truly fresh start to the new year. 2024 has flown by like a whirlwind for me. When you're deeply engaged in meaningful work, time moves q...

Learn, Lead, and Succeed

TL;DR, A few months after joining as a lecturer at my new job, I found myself facing an unexpected challenge—guiding two master’s students, voluntarily for their dissertations. At first, I hesitated. I had no prior experience in mentoring postgraduate students, let alone guiding them through the intricacies of work. Initially, I saw this responsibility as voluntary, something outside my official duties. My knowledge in the area was limited, and honestly, I was unsure if I could meet their expectations. I reluctantly agreed to guide them, thinking it would be manageable for a short while. My initial approach was avoidance—I provided vague responses to their queries and assumed I could defer the task until someone else took over. But days turned into weeks, and the students kept returning with more questions, their faces reflecting a mix of curiosity and hope. The guilt of my inaction began to weigh on me. One quiet afternoon, sitting alone in my workplace, I reflected deeply. Could I re...
