Welcome to the era of Artificial
Intelligence (AI). Recently, AI has garnered significant attention of the world. It is because of the ChatGPT, an AI chatbot, developed by the
team of Sam Altman of OpenAI (An artificial intelligence lab). Sam recently
met our Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the national capital, and he said that
Mr. Modi welcome all the collaboration regarding AI. This meeting indeed
emphasizes the importance of AI in India.
The current AI revolution marks an
important milestone in humanity’s unrelenting march in the digital realm. First
came the Internet, then the smartphone, the internet, and now AI. I am
convinced that developing an Artificial General Intelligence that has
human-like cognitive abilities to perform a wide range of tasks across
different domains is only a matter of time.
Way before this, AI has been already
leaving its mark in the field of technology. We found it in the form of software
programs, and some tools. But the current set of AI tools is drastically
different and novel. The first time, when I studied AI was in my master’s, it
too in the context of healthcare and pharmaceutical applications. I merely read
about this topic to pass an exam. Although I know about AI but only at a preliminary
level. So, AI is not a new term to me. It has been there for a decade. But in recent
months it makes an outstanding impact on the lives of millions globally. For
instant here, we take the example of ChatGPT, which was launched on
November 2022 and has greatly captivated the attraction of all the technology
enthusiasts. Since its discovery, it has been a magnificent player in the game.
Today, ChatGPT has been forefront in the technological advancements. It
has been an extremely helpful tool for millions of people globally. Unfortunately,
in India, very few people are aware of the fact of ChatGPT. The majority of college
students and tech-savvy are more prone to this bot. But still, there is a large
number of groups that need to know about this invention.
ChatGPT is a language model, based on an
extensive range of information. Its main goal is to provide accurate (not
always) and helpful (more often) information on a wide array of topics. What
makes it more beautiful and user-friendly is its human-like text generation and
response to questions and statements in a way that is alike to how an individual
would. Since its inception, it has been the cornerstone in every field of
technology.
ChatGPT is one of the best things that
can be utilized by the current generation. It offers enormous benefits to the
ones who want to take advantage of this technique. Simply it is capable of
doing and providing all the basic to advance level information on the tip of the
fingers. More or less importantly, it is a mimic of Google, but it is more
simple and user-friendly than Google. Being a language model, ChatGPT is
utilized by a wide range of personnel ranging from students to leading organizations
globally. It has been used for n number of purposes depending on the need and
requirement of the one. ChatGPT has become the fastest and the most widely
adopted product in a record time. Many sectors— education, health, research,
academia, and government — are ripe for disruption. The possibilities from here
on are endless.
Among individuals, it has been popularly
used to seek information on a wide range of topics. Recently, the majority of students, are fond
of this technology, they use ChatGPT to complete their homework. It has been a great
learning resource for the students in common use. (Not recommended personally),
more of use, it also provides tutor assistance to a great number of students
and teachers. For college professionals, it serves as a coding platform, email writing,
and assignment completion tool. For professionals,
it serves as a content creation tool, for some it serves as a research tool,
and for some, it serves as a language assistance medium. For business persons,
it helps in analyzing the data, generating content, and offering suggestions.
In my case, I adore ChatGPT for its
interface and ability to quickly respond in seconds. Earlier, I used it very jokily,
in continuation when I came to know about its abilities and limitations I became
a permanent member of it. I used it frequently and found it extremely helpful.
I found it helpful in many contexts. One of the important things about this
ChatGPT I like the most is its ability to answer almost every general
question or doubt (whatever) in your mind. This only requires a proper command.
Specifically, it helps me immensely in understanding unknown and complex
phenomena easily and simply. Despite this, it helps me with many of my problems
including academic, personal development,

is never true always. So it is always advisable for the users to use it very
cautiously. The response information and the data produced by ChatGPT should always
take with a pinch of salt. The use of the information and the data produced by
it is more nearly correct but sometimes it’s vague, misleading, and wrong too. The
accuracy and reliability of ChatGPT is a major topic of debate, so it is always
advisable to cross-check the important facts and data for its reliability from
sources. The visitors and users must be aware of the basics of it. ChatGPT is quite
a simple but tricky thing at the same time. The majority of the school students
are caught by their teachers for copying and pasting their homework by
utilizing ChatGPT. Using technology for betterment is always a great idea but using
it carefully and timely is also important.
Using technology for the betterment of
society is undoubtedly a great idea. Technological advancements have the
potential to revolutionize various aspects of our lives, from healthcare and
education to communication and sustainability. However, it is crucial to
exercise caution, responsibility, and timeliness in our utilization of
technology to ensure its positive impact, here in the context of ChatGPT and AI
it holds very aptly.
