WISE AND OTHERWISE

"WISE AND OTHERWISE "

When we pray to God normally at the times of test and exams and interviews and meetings and at that time we pray for our success which is in material terms important to us at that time.
We do pray for prosperity because money can buy many things, it's no wonder but we often forget that it can't buy love and peace. One can attain peace in life only when he cuts off his greed and be detached from useless relations and pride.
At the end of the day a rich Bill Gates and a poor beggar have to leave this earth but leaving in peace of mind is most important for a person.

Every living being on this earth is born with three things although the % of each may vary these are mind, intelligence and ego.Now if we cut ego and use intelligence to improve our mind it brings us peace.Every living creature is doing the same work.Still the man is doing the same old things in different ways like animals keep eating 3 times a day, having sex and sleeping after being tired. But these alone cannot satisfy the human birth. One should know and always think of the purpose of life and search for it then one fine day the truth will be revealed. Because hungry alone can't feed food to stomach, searching for food and making it can make food reach your mouth. Therefore one should always enquire about his purpose of birth.

There exists three modes in nature as goodness, passion and laziness, of which one's passion always should be to cutoff laziness and improve goodness. Which will give chance to win in life. Simply to say, life existed in the past and exists in the future and no need to someone answer this because think what made a person to born in a rich family or a poor family, some are born as handicapped or having some disease.Because it's all about karma or deeds here comes Newton's third Law about "every action has its own equal and opposite reaction".It means your deeds will reflect you and manifest in whatever form you have committed.

From the book: Wise and  Otherwise

Peace of mind comes from a simple realisation that “I need no more”. This statement “I need no more” is often misunderstood and misinterpreted. Saying “I need no more” does not mean not wanting something at all or resisting something. It only means that one is satisfied with only as much as what one needs to fulfill his worldly duties and obligations. Such a person is not greedy for more. However, he does need at least the minimum of everything (including money) that is required to live and fulfill his duties. It is extremely important to understand that peace of mind never comes by running away from our responsibilities. It does not come by going away into the forest or on a mountain or in a cave when our family is starving.

We know that both money and peace of mind are equally important. We need money to live in the material world. We cannot do without it. Even to buy food for the poor, even to donate something you need money directly or indirectly. Only the problem arises when people fail to create a balance between the two. This comparison between money and peace of mind arises
when people fail to create a balance. Even the most wealthy people fail to create this balance.
Then they start blaming money for their lack of peace of mind. It’s not the money. It’s simply their failure to create the balance. It’s their failure to realise “I need no more.” Cheers!

I had written this blog on book named "Wise and Otherwise" by Sudha Murthy.

One of my favorite book at all times!

MY COLLEGE JOURNEY

MY COLLEGE JOURNEY As I look back on the years gone by, I can’t be thankful enough for them. Professionally and personally, those are the best years I’ve had. Those college years (2016-2020) gaves me a lots of experiences, a lot of memories, a lots of life lessons, and so on. What did you learnt in those years? Can you describe it in one word? For me it is “GRATITUDE”. I discovered that having a deep sense of gratitude for all that you have in a life is a source of profound happiness. As I started my college for the first time in the month of August 2016. I was quiet afraid as I do not want to go the B.Pharm Degree course. But due to the some reasons I took a decision to go to the bachelors of pharmacy degree. From the very first day of my college admission to the till date the my journey of college was very interesting and distinct. On the 8th of July 2016 I took admission to the KVPS Institute of Pharmaceutic...

Journey of Master's: Lessons and Reflections

“Lao Tzu”, once rightly said, “The Journey of Thousand Miles Begins With a Single Step”   Today I’m at the stage of finishing my master's and heading towards a new phase of my life. I still remember the days when I’m in dilemma about choosing the next path of my career after my bachelor's. As my bachelor degree was nearing the finish, I was quite firm about doing my master as on a distance basis from the same institute. But due to the importunity of family members, I opted to go for the regular mode. I still remember the day when (30/1/2021) when I confirm my admission to the college and started my master’s college on regular basis from 5/2/2021 onwards.  Initially, the college was supposed to be on online mode due to the upsurge in COVID-19 cases. Up to June 2021, things are getting normal back. Due to COVID-19, the exam for the first two semesters of the first year was held in online mode (Sessional exams were offline mostly). As already our year has started quite late due t...

2025: A Year in a Nutshell

The time has come to say goodbye to 2025 and welcome 2026. This is the right time to look back at the year, think about what happened, and prepare for what is coming next. For the last two years, I have built a habit of reviewing my year and learning from it. This moment helps to remember what I did, what I missed, and what I still want to do. I truly believe this is the time to learn from the past and get ready for the future. Reflection is not only about success. It is also about emotions, mistakes, lessons, strength, and growth. So it is important to pause, think, and move ahead with better understanding. Like always, 2025 passed very fast. It feels like it just started and now it is ending. Every year teaches something. Sometimes it feels light and happy. Sometimes it feels heavy and difficult. But every year shapes us in some way. At the beginning of 2025, I had many resolutions. Some I completed, some I could not. That is completely fine. Life does not always follow our plans. Wh...
