                   MY COLLEGE JOURNEY

As I look back on the years gone by, I can’t be thankful enough for them. Professionally and personally, those are the best years I’ve had. Those college years (2016-2020) gaves me a lots of experiences, a lot of memories, a lots of life lessons, and so on.
What did you learnt in those years? Can you describe it in one word? For me it is “GRATITUDE”.

I discovered that having a deep sense of gratitude for all that you have in a life is a source of profound happiness.
As I started my college for the first time in the month of August 2016. I was quiet afraid as I do not want to go the B.Pharm Degree course. But due to the some reasons I took a decision to go to the bachelors of pharmacy degree. From the very first day of my college admission to the till date the my journey of college was very interesting and distinct. On the 8th of July 2016 I took admission to the KVPS Institute of Pharmaceutical Education, Boradi. The 8th of July 2016 will be always be in my memory in very well manner. Because this is not only a day for me but also a life lesson to me. After the admission process it took me around 15 days to start my college on regular basis. In the month of August my regular schedule of college were began, on the very first regular day of my college I met with so many of my stranger buddies.

The very first’s I still remember was Akash and Hitesh from that day I never look back again and I never regret about the decision that took me here. The days were passed very slowly.  After few days I’m totally mixed up with all my classmates and some of teachers as well.  The days are gone very well in all the manners. By each passing day the triggering thoughts of taking admission to bachelor of pharma were vanished from my mind but the my ultimate goal was still there in a corner of my mind which hammered me on a time to time basis.

After few months there was a event called Freshers Day Party was organized by my seniors for the purpose is to welcome newcomers in a friendly atmosphere and avoid social evils and increase confidence among them. That event was one which gaves me a immense pleasure and eternal happiness. I gave a boring speech on that day as a task of choice, in front of my college family. That speech was still in my memory as it was unprepared one.

After few days I decided to took the admission to the Bachelors of Arts degree, as a distance course offered by YCMOU, I took admission to the SPDM college and started my second half of college life.
Admission to the YCMOU is a total different experience for me. It was very special and unforgettable.

Similarly my college was going well as two months were gone away after starting regular schedule. Now it was time for sessional exams and semesters exams, I started to study earlier as it all is new for me. After giving my sessional examinations papers, I scored quiet good marks in them and due to which I met my one of distance relative in a college called Sagar Deore. He plays an important role in bachelors degree. Due to him I met my one of favorite teacher as well and then, these two peoples changed my mind I got sticked to them. For all the immense and eternal love I’ m really thankful to them.


After the one month of sessional examinations, the schedule of university examinations was came. Alll of my friends were curious about the examinations as it was happening for the first time to us. In the month of November 2016 our theory exams was held, and then in the month of December 2016 practicals was began.


The December 2016 is very rude month for me, It gaves me a lot of tears. It was the 19th Dec. 2016 my first university practical was scheduled it was Pharmaceutics-1. I left my room early in the morning though my practical was in the afternoon batch , as our college bus was came only once in a day. I reached to the college in just 45 minutes, As I put my first leg in a college my phone was rang, it was my cousins called when I picked up the phone it gives me a shock I heard a news that my bigger uncle was no more. This news totally changed my mind and I start filling low as I did not understand that what should I do. Unfortunately due to some stupid reasons I’m not able to attain my uncles funeral. This was the day that added so much to my llife as I loose a precious stone in my life.
This days were passed too fastly.

I Completed my exams, I rest for half of month in my hometown the result were came in the month of January I Got a good pointer in my results. In return of that college gaves me a reward too. After few days the regular college were began and I entered into the second semester the days are now passed swiftly as we all friends knowing each other in very well manner, The semester are passes too early and exams were also came near, I shifted my gears of studies in final mode. I gave the papers, the results also came earlier  this time I achieved more  good pointer than previous semester, it boost my overall confidence and  performance as well.

Now it was year 2017. The Toranmal visit in 2017 with my friends was unforgettable. Whenever I saw the pictures from that Toramal tour they brings smile on my face. 2017-19 were very toughed years in terms of life lessons for me. These years gaves me a fonds of memories which I will never forgot in my life. Academically these years are very bright for me. I scored really good marks in both these years. But emotionally these years gaves me so much pain that I couldn’t expressed in words.


2017 this year gave me a life-long lesson.  In May 2017 I had met an bike accident with my two friends namely Sandip and Mayur while going to attend the marriage fuction of friend ‘s (Sumesh) Sister. The entire incident was too long and also memorable too also. Another heartbreaking incident which that I lost my Sister-in-law on 30 December 2017 this unexpected thing which totally changed my perspective of life.

2018 was came up with new rays of hope and lots of positivity.  This year was my Favorite year of College. I enjoyed a lot during this year because this was the only year when we celebrated all our college days and events. My academics was too brighten more during this year. This year was also passed too swiftly. By giving a huge fond of memories. The best part of 2018 was celebration of college days, attending friend’s sisters’s wedding, night outs, etc. which gave a different direction to the life.


Now it was 2019, it began with very well manner, the February month of 2019 was very rude to us as our batch lost our best friend-cum-brother called Akash Jadhav. The 21st Feb 2019 was the black day in life of all of us. The thoughts about that day, the thoughts about the Akash are neither be expressed from the writing nor from the formal speaking they can only be feel. The project of Third year B. Pharm is very interesting thing in 2019 with best lessons.

The 2019 is more rude to me as in few months I again lost my Brother (Uncles Son) on 11thOct 2019 which is meant everything to me, this was the worst day of my life. The single days from each year as mentioned above were change my perspective of looking at life.

The lesson I learnt from these days change my entire focus and view against the life. In very lesser time of span I lost very precious stones in my life which are so much to me. And this all is different type of heartache. Due to this incidents I Found myself alone for long while.

But when you have good friends and lovely family nothing will be affect you for long while, that same thing was happen in my case. My beautiful friends support me on each step of my career no matter what’s the situation is.

The 2019 last one month and 2020 first two months changed me a lot and due to that I couldn’t do the things which I want , but at the end of the day you have to be happy in what you have is only the prime lesson of life, which I learnt during these difficult times.

2020 was also a great year that teaches me a lot, and still continues.

 In 2020 I made my mothers wish complete for which I feel myself blessed. I make all promises cames true that I given to my mother, but simultaneously feels bad for Akash as I did not came true his dream, which will be always in my fond of memory. But wherever he was today I want to assure him that one day your friend will make you fill proud. I also want to tell my brother which was no more, that one day your champion will make you fill huge proud.

There are so many important things which may be missing from this letter but those things will never be missed from my mind. For that I apologize to all of you.

In a summarized manner the 4 years of my college life gives me a lot of lovely lessons, lots of teachable lessons, unforgettable memories and so on.

The teachers who believed in me, who encourages me, who teaches me, who helped me, who guides me are also really very helpful for shaping my career, today what I am is only due to them. The things that they did for me were impossible to expressed in words.

The friends who teaches us me a lot , one teaches me how to smile, one teaches me how to be fearless, one teaches me how to be bold, one teaches me how to be happy. Each and every friend teach me a life lesson and I also tried to learn the several things from them. These are the peoples who makes my life very bright and happy.

The non-teaching staff of college will also helped me a lot during my college day for that I’m humbled to them.

At last my lovely Parents who believed in me during this journey, I’m thankful too them as well. The sacrifices that you made are mean so much to me.

These are the four pillars which made my journey really very good and successful.

Life is too fleeting to stay miserable. It taught me to take each moment as it comes, count my blessings and be grateful for it.

 At last, for all of you the only one word that comes in my mind is  “GRATITUDE”
